Have Bar and Leo split?
They’ve been on-and-off-again since they got together six years ago.
Now there’s fresh speculation that Bar and boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio’s relationship could have hit the skids again.
It comes after the movie star, 36, failed to accompany her to the Met Gala in New York on Monday.
Instead he is reported to have hit up NY hotspot Top of the Standard.
The actor’s absence fuelled speculation that all is not well between the pair, with the New York Post claiming they are ’going through a difficult patch’.
According to Jewish news site ynet.com, Bar said she didn’t regret getting into an arranged marriage to avoid national service.
’I don’t regret not enlisting, because it paid off big time,’ she is reported as saying.
’That’s just the way it is, celebrities have other needs. I hope my case has influenced the army.’
She went on: ’Why is it good to die for our country? What, isn’t it better to live in New York?
’Why should 18-year-old kids have to die? It’s dumb that people have to die so that I can live in Israel.’
In the interview with GQ, however, Bar has only positive things to say, wishing her homeland ’peace and prosperity’.
She even tweeted the pictures, clearly being more comfortable taking the military concept to the front pages - rather than the front line.
In 2008 Refaeli visited injured soldiers to encourage enlistment and in a bid to end protests against her partnership with Israeli fashion company Fox.
The following year a feud developed between Refaeli and fellow Israeli model Esti Ginzburg, who served in the army and criticised Bar’s avoidance tactics.
