As the new trailer for The Paperboy paints the film as a complex web of lies, deceit and violence.
The star-studded film boasts an impressive cast of Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron and John Cusack, in the tale about a reporter investigating a case involving an inmate on death row.

The footage open with Moulin Rouge star Nicole having transformed once again, this time morphing into a trashy peroxide blonde, cleavage-flashing bombshell, complete with Southern drawl.
The audience soon learn she is engaged to Hilary, played by Cusack, although he is currently behind bars for killing a sheriff and needs help from her 'paperboys' to pen news reports to aid his release.
However, by the time the High Fidelity star is back in the real world, Kidman has embarked on a romance with toyboy lover Efron - the younger brother of journalist Ward James (MConaughey).
The film looks set to be a rollercoaster thriller, with director Lee Daniels behind the lens.
Daniels was the mastermind behind 2009's Precious, for which he received a Best Director nomination at the Academy Awards (although sadly lost out to Kathryn Bigelow for The Hurt Locker).
An additional A-list sprinkling comes in the guise of songbird Mariah Carey, who wrote and recorded a song titled Mesmerized for the film's soundtrack.
Visiting prison: Zac, Matthew, Nicole and David Oyelowo are seen in the jail talking to John Cusack's character
